ruby.vim defines a set of Ruby mappings. Two of such maps are [m and ]m which move to the previous/next method. When diving into source code I make heavy use of these maps. So I decided to simplified them into M and m by adding some lines to ~/.vim/ftplugin/ruby.vim:

augroup ruby
  autocmd!
  autocmd BufEnter *.rb,*.ruby map <buffer> m ]m
  autocmd BufEnter *.rb,*.ruby map <buffer> M [m
augroup END

Yes this overwrites the default mark motion, but really, who needs marks when you can breeze through methods?

Vamos a programar.
